There are a variety of bindings that easily attach to the Hok. All the bindings options listed below will offer great range of motion and natural foot flex while touring in the backcountry. This is essential for comfortable and efficient skishoeing, whether your out for an hour or all day. Control is also important and all these options offer what we consider to be the best blend of touring comfort and ski control.
We consider the 75mm system to have the best mix of control, weight, and comfort while skishoeing. Our universal binding is definitely the most convenient and the least expensive way to start out, as you can use your existing boots. It also offers good control and has a comfortable flex for touring. The system bindings are great too, and if you have a good system boot this offers great flex and control in a small package.
Whatever you choose, switching to a different system is easy to do, as the Hok comes with threaded inserts that match the hole pattern of the universal and the 75mm binding. An adapter plate is also available for easily mounting of Rottefella NNNBC or Salomon BC bindings.
As of fall 2014 we have upgraded our site to serve customers in both Canada and the US. First, our site is now multilingual (French and English)! The other big change (aside from the new look) is that we now accept payment in US and Canadian dollars. When entering the Product Page you need to choose between the US store or the Canadian store. We found this was the cleanest way to separate the two shopping carts as the products all have their own buy buttons as well as sizing and other options, both of which may vary between the US and Canada.
